RABBITS NEVER COME OUT OF A COWBOY HAT

Why don't rabbits ever come out of a cowboy hat?

 Is it because cowboys have occassionally had to kill a few to eat and survive ;  or is it because cowboys don't perform magic? Or perhaps because rabbits have that classier uppercrust attitude? You will find them popping out of top hats, maybe even the occasional bowler or fedora ! The rabbit, attests to the fact that there is a particular style you recognize when you see a top hat, fedora or bowler ; and that is ...it shouts class ! Once you attire yourself in these types of chapeaux, you become inundated with class ! 

Top hats have made their appearance in countless movies , and in old England . One very well known such film is Alice in Wonderland, concerning the MAD HATTER ! This has influenced the fashion world immensely as you can see in the following fashion photos :

 This bright royal blue , exaggerated shape top hat , is an example of something you would wear performing in a rock concert or  movie , any masquerade party , or Halloween ! The same would apply to the "top hat" on the right !

TO WEAR A HAT...YOU NEED A 'TUDE !

I don't have to tell you how incredible hats are ! Today I will have the "online comic " discuss hats with our fashionista. Let's see how it goes...

    The Online Comic : " Today I saw someone's profile pic and she was wearing a type of men's style broad rimmed hat , with a slightly turned down brim; you know...Michael Jackson style?"

Fashionista: " It's hard to say where the style originated because it has also been worn by many an Italian mobster ( back when mobsters wore hats), Freddie Crougar and the Jewish Lubavitch sect ! Now, you have to wonder , what were they thinking when they put this style of hat on Freddie Crougar?" The Online Comic: " The monster with pinash, style, a fashion sense ? Maybe the writers thought " Let's take this horribly ugly , frightening monster and show that he has a sense of style...lol".  Fashionista: "This teaches us that EVERYONE can have style!! This also teaches us the wonders that a  little style can do for anyone !" 

    The online Commic (with two ems) : " I've yet to mention "Boy George" singer  and his chossid style hat. There; it has been mentioned !"

   
 Now we can go on to address one of my personal faves...the newspaper boy cap from the twenties ! This style is great on women as well as men and also adorable on children!

    THE ONLINE COMIC PREFERS TO DISCUSS CLOWN HATS and other funny hats through the ages and in the movies ; "HI, I want to talk about the hat that belonged to The cat in the hat! But I also want to talk about a "fez" worn to look silly by Mr. Cunningham in the show "Happy Days" ! Also worn by Mr. Will Ferrel in the movie "Austin Powers" ! There  was a time when the pointed "dunce cap" was actually a style for the princess of the midieval times! That was quite a jump for the style to make! From princess to dummy!! I wonder what was the story behind that? Everything and every one has a story!! If we don't know the ACTUAL story, it gives our imaginations freedom to embellish and make up our own version of what must have happened. Luckily for you (my public ), my embellishments are humorous...or at least they attempt to be...because they care ! I can honestly say that my embellishments  care! 

  
 Now arrogant people...what type of hats do they wear? WIDE BRIMS...the wider the brim ...the more arrogant the wearer of said brim ! Arrogant people also tend to like wearing crowns or tiaras. A tiara person has a smaller ego than someone who wears a full blown crown ! As you can see the tiara is smaller than the crown.This attests to the smaller ego."
     Sarah of Sarah's Fitness and Fashion says: To wear a hat...you need an attitude. For some reason, that is the rule...mobster style fedoras require that you make a smoldering face that also appears as though you're planning something evil ( as you can clearly see in these photos, it must also looks as though you have something up your sleeve  ! ) My question is...Is it the person who gave the hat an attitude or did putting on the hat give birth to the person's new attitude? What do you say?

A Look at Bandanas and Sweatbands

Bandanas and sweatbands really do come in so many versatile styles and prints that we can easily base an entire blog on just bandanas alone! So here goes !!

Here you will see some of my favorite picks for summer and all type of workouts and outdoor activities. These are so fun and fashionable that you may forget why you are wearing them in the first place! ( To catch the sweat from your workout!) You might even find yourself wearing them as your new style because they look so darned cute on you! Below, you will see a variety of bandana styles to give you a feel for what is out there ! You have 3 choices to make : 1) bandana color 2) the print or design on your bandana 3) which type matches your hair color , lipstick or outfit 

You can work bandanas with any face shape ,  because there are so many ways to wear them! They give you instant style , whether you are on the slopes , skiing, or on a hot summer day at the beach...or even on a windy day ! (Of course your ski headband will be made of a warm wool or other insulated material built for warmth, while your summer bandana is most likely to be 100 % cotton or silk .)

Advice on Fashions for Your Summer Workout

Who wouldn't like to look more pulled together , when they are working out and working up a sweat? Then there is also the matter of comfort and practicality. Well you can have all three ! Clearly , it is easiest to have your hair pulled back during a heavy workout , so let's look at the various clips and bandanas or scrunchies.

Bandanas are my personal favorite because of how comfortable and useful the cotton is , in addition to all the many colors and shades they come in!  You can find

bandanas in , dark or light blue, in black, white, purple , green, yellow, pink , red, and so many prints , as well ! A bandana is perfect for keeping the sweat out of your eyes , while jogging or playing a heavy game of handball ! I like to tie one on , so that it keeps my forehead dry and comfortable ! I also like to tie another one around my wrist and just use it anytime I need to wipe my face, on a very hot day! 

In the summer, the longer the sleeve or pantleg, the better ! This is true because it shades you from the sun and protects you from sunburn and insect bites!

The material that will keep you coolest and most comfortable is  a very light cotton, in a light color. For all summer , outdoor workouts , you will need a water supply with you or on your back. 

For footwear , there are slip on canvas walking sneakers or lace up sneakers. Slip ons are far more comfortable . I would not advise open sandals for the outdoors . They allow for cuts and scrapes, insect bites and sunburn. 

In order to think about color, you need to consider which colors go well, with your skin tone ! ( keep in mind that your skin tone will change after you have acquired  a tan ! ) .
