Advice on Fashions for Your Summer Workout

Who wouldn't like to look more pulled together , when they are working out and working up a sweat? Then there is also the matter of comfort and practicality. Well you can have all three ! Clearly , it is easiest to have your hair pulled back during a heavy workout , so let's look at the various clips and bandanas or scrunchies.
Bandanas are my personal favorite because of how comfortable and useful the cotton is , in addition to all the many colors and shades they come in!  You can find

bandanas in , dark or light blue, in black, white, purple , green, yellow, pink , red, and so many prints , as well ! A bandana is perfect for keeping the sweat out of your eyes , while jogging or playing a heavy game of handball ! I like to tie one on , so that it keeps my forehead dry and comfortable ! I also like to tie another one around my wrist and just use it anytime I need to wipe my face, on a very hot day! 


In the summer, the longer the sleeve or pantleg, the better ! This is true because it shades you from the sun and protects you from sunburn and insect bites!

The material that will keep you coolest and most comfortable is  a very light cotton, in a light color. For all summer , outdoor workouts , you will need a water supply with you or on your back. 




For footwear , there are slip on canvas walking sneakers or lace up sneakers. Slip ons are far more comfortable . I would not advise open sandals for the outdoors . They allow for cuts and scrapes, insect bites and sunburn. 



In order to think about color, you need to consider which colors go well, with your skin tone ! ( keep in mind that your skin tone will change after you have acquired  a tan ! ) .
